Another great spot to warm up and spend an afternoon is Meeples & Milkshakes Board Game Cafe. They have a vast board game library of over 500 games for you to enjoy, as well as a selection of delicious food and drinks.

Having different dining options is important when you’re travelling with family and luckily Penticton has plenty of food possibilities.
Start the morning off right a delicious breakfast from Bear’s Den Restaurant, open daily from 7am-2pm, Wayne and Freda, open daily from 8am-4pm, or take advantage of the Family Day Brunch at The Hooded Merganser, open on Monday, February 21 for Family Day Brunch from 10am–3pm.
A few lunch choices include Gratify Foods, offering wraps, soups, dips and chips, all made in house as well as a selection of delicious and healthy treats, Sushi Genki, with creative sushi rolls and delicious ramen that’s packed full of flavour, or The Station Public House, featuring fresh flavours including locally-sourced ingredients, fresh soup made in-house daily, delicious pizza from their forno oven, and house-made sauces and gravies.
For dinner, try Tratto Pizzeria, a Neapolitan pizzeria offering classic, contemporary and sacrilegious pizza pies using everything the Okanagan has to offer, Elma, which offers a Turkish inspired dining experience located on Okanagan Lake, or one of the local breweries, offering a fantastic selection of locally crafted beers and a variety of menus, sure to please event the pickiest eaters.
