Saturdays from April to October, 8:30am to 1:00pm on the 100 block of Main Street. Vendors proudly make, bake or grow everything they bring to the market. Find farm fresh fruits and veggies, eggs, honey, baking, preserves and handmade crafts plus a selection of local liquor vendors each week for tasting and purchasing.

Being blessed with an abundance of sunshine, the Okanagan Valley has the perfect growing climate for fruits and vegetables. Cherries are the first to arrive, followed by apricots, plums, peaches, pears and apples. Heirloom tomatoes of every hue and shape, fragrant strawberries along with raspberries and blueberries make appearances at markets and road-side stands.

Markets 

Every Saturday from April to October the streets of downtown Penticton are full of vendors from the Farmers’ Market and from May to September from the Downtown Community Market.

The Penticton Farmers’ Market vendors proudly make, bake or grow everything they bring to the market. Find farm fresh fruits and veggies, eggs, honey, baking, preserves and handmade crafts plus a selection of local liquor vendors each week for tasting and purchasing. The neighbouring Downtown Penticton Community Market boasts a diverse set of handmade goods, including clothing, food and jewellery, collectibles, antiques and furniture, weekly food vendors, live music, and entertainment which combine to create a fabulous downtown vibe.

Some other local markets to look out for include:

Naramata Community Market – Wednesdays from mid-June to early September, 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Manitou Park, Naramata. Locally grown produce, art and crafts, baked goods, musical performers.

Summerland Rotary Market has farmers, artists, crafters and food vendors fill over 50 stalls with the bounty of Summerland and the Okanagan Valley on Main Street in Summerland, 9:00am to 1:00pm.

U-Pick & Fruit Stands

Stop at one of the many U-Pick or Fruit Stands located throughout the Penticton area for fresh produce direct from local farmers. Find fruit and vegetables, locally raised meat and eggs, artisanal cheese, preserves, honey, savoury treats, handmade artisan goods and much more!
