A Day at Okanagan Beach

Tucked between two lakes in the beautiful Okanagan Valley, Penticton is a vibrant community with plenty of things to do, see, eat, and drink. With seemingly endless options, it makes sense to plan ahead. Penticton is home to 15 acres of premium sandy beaches along the shores of Okanagan Lake to the north and Skaha Lake to the south. We are going to showcase what a beach day, any day of the week on Okanagan Lake would look like!

Okanagan Lake Beach

  • Lakeshore Drive, Penticton

Stretching from the giant peach all the way to the SS Sicamous, this section of beach is one of the most popular areas in Penticton for travellers and locals alike. Find the perfect spot for you and your group, under the helpful shade of a tree, next to the firepits for a beach side bonfire or anywhere along the shoreline for quick access to the fresh water of Okanagan Lake.

This is your home base for the day to sunbath, build sandcastles, play spike ball, go for a swim or toss the floatie in the water for a mellow float in the lake.

Don’t forget your sun screen and remember to drink lots of water!
