Sail with Us on Beautiful Okanagan Lake
We are excited to offer another year of sailing on ‘Anam Cara’. She is a safe and stable 46’ Hunter sailing yacht. We sail for four hour adventures, so you will have time to relax, eat and enjoy the magic! We leave at noon from sunny Naramata, BC. Contact us for a custom sailing adventure too!
During the sail, we will share in some basic sailing techniques, and you will get a chance for some hands on learning. Guests are encouraged to participate in the sailing as much or as little as desired.
We offer more than sailing. It is a mix of water, waves, sunshine, laughter, learning, friendship and also a meaningful encounter with one another. Families, groups of friends and work colleagues have all loved this adventure. We can take up to six guests with us.
Sailing is a life changing experience
You will learn how to read the winds, feel the waves, and guide a large sailing yacht into the open waters of Okanagan Lake. We provide hands on instruction and lots of opportunities over four hours to learn how to operate and sail a modern sailboat. You can bring whatever you’d like to eat or drink onboard with you.
And it is is unbelievably beautiful! The scenery is spectacular, from the many developed wineries on The Naramata Bench to the wild natural areas and park. Photographers will love it!
The lake is warm and clean. You will love when we anchor up to go for a swim or for a paddleboard. It is the perfect experience to spend a day in the outdoors to create family memories or incredible encounters with friends.
