Make it, Bake it, Grow it

The iconic Penticton Farmers’ Market has been operating in downtown Penticton since 1991. The first market was located in Gyro Park with a few vendors who had the vision of a true “make it, bake it, grow it” farmers’ market.

Today, the market is held every Saturday on the 100 Block of Main Street in downtown Penticton, from mid April until the end of October. Traditionally the society also hosts indoor Spring and Winter Markets and we have been fortunate in recent years to have secured space in Cherry Lane Mall.

Currently, the market has the capacity of 90+ vendor stalls per market day. You can enjoy the Outdoor market every Saturday from mid April to the end of October.

The market welcomes over 10,000 visitors per day. Although most are local to Penticton and area, many visit from other parts of British Columbia, other Provinces, and even from other countries.

The Penticton Farmers’ Market is proud to be a member of the BC Association of Farmers’ Markets, to participate in the Farmers’ Market Nutritional Coupon Program and to work collaboratively with the City of Penticton to continue to support local “make it, bake it, grow it” farmers and craftspeople, and the broader business community,
