Carrying on the tradition passed to the Elks from the Penticton Art Gallery, get ready for Penticton’s hottest night of the year! Join us at the Elks Hall on March 5 for the unforgettable Loving Mugs Chili Cook-Off, featuring a stellar lineup of the region’s most inventive chefs and beloved local restaurants—all competing for chili supremacy.

Your $45 ticket includes a free drink courtesy of Ruby Blues Winery and Highway 97 Brewing, a beautiful handmade pottery mug, and the chance to sample an incredible variety of chilies, including both meat and vegetarian options. Participating favourites include Cannery Brewing, Highway 97 Brewing Co., Angry Vegan, Gratify, Still Food Bistro, the Elks, and more. Beautiful bread provided by Crowsnest Bakery.

Taste, sip, and savour as you cast your vote for the People’s Choice Award, alongside several other chili-inspired trophies up for grabs. With bold flavours, creative recipes, and serious bragging rights on the line, this year’s event is shaping up to be our hottest yet.

Funds raised through Loving Mugs will go to support projects at the Elks Hall such as the Purple Pantry and the Elevator fund, as well as the Ignite the Arts Festival coming up March 27 – 29. Guests are welcome to bring non-perishable food items to donate to the Purple Pantry to be entered into a draw to win tickets to Ignite the Arts.
