Our annual community event “Wild About Spring” Film Festival & Silent Auction is coming up in May!
We’re excited to bring our film festival to Penticton this year at the Landmark Cinema, Sunday May 3rd.

Our feature film is called “The Beaver Believers” – an urgent yet whimsical story of an unlikely cadre of activists –five scientists and a hairdresser – who share a common vision: restoring the North American Beaver, that most industrious, ingenious, bucktoothed engineer, to the watersheds of the arid West.

Proceeds from this fundraiser event go directly to Interior Wildlife to help us build a “Beaver Hotel” for injured and orphaned beavers of BC in Summerland, a first of its kind in the province.
