Lucas Penner is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Penticton, BC. He is the frontman of the Californian spaghetti-western guitar band Desert Friends, an active actor in theatre and film/TV, and an accomplished singer/songwriter.

All of these elements come together in his performances with his local legends trio, featuring Terence Wendenburg on drums (the new Head of Music at Princess Margaret Secondary) and Phil D’Aoust on bass (a familiar face on Okanagan stages). Together, the trio delivers a groovy fusion of rock, singer/songwriter, jazz, and blues, and will feature Lucas’ first 2026 release, “Quietly,” produced by Dave Mai at Lakeboat Studios.
