Dinuk Wijeratne is a musical polymath. A composer, conductor and pianist, his compositions and performances cross east-west boundaries blending classical, jazz, fusion and Indian classical music as well as other styles. The intermission-less concert unfolds with Dinuk performing pieces close to his heart with entertaining stories about the music and his life and career. A masterpiece for strings and piano, Gajaga Vannama is influenced by Dinuk’s Sri Lankan roots.
