Ivan Hartle (Vancouver) is a musician who molds a vintage sonic aesthetic with modern elements. Pivoting from a successful US college baseball career into music, he’s been featured as an emerging artist by DailyHive Canada. Ivan’s bluesy, soul singer-songwriter sound is flush with melodic grooves and his timeless, warm vocals.

Performing in notable festivals like Rifflandia, Shipyards, Vancouver Jazz, and NXNE, Ivan’s also toured most of Canada (Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Toronto), and opened for artists like Jon and Roy and the Grammy award winning Cedric Burnside. In 2024, he was selected for Music BC’s renowned ARC Program.

Ivan’s received considerable airplay on CBC, including the Q with Tom Power and Afterdark programs, as well as the Netherlands’ NPO Radio 2. Amassing over 7.5 million streams on Spotify to date, his catalogue has also landed various editorial placements.
