The Valley First Frost Fest Winter Carnival is a high-energy festival in the heart of downtown Penticton. The inaugural event in 2024 was a big success, and it will be even bigger in 2025! Frost Fest will be expand to three days over January 17-19 and will feature:

  • A family-friendly movie night
  • All-day ice activities run by the Penticton Vees
  • Kids activities & stations run by Ha Ha Ha Kidzfest
  • A new-and-improved snowboard rail jam
  • Hot air balloon glow up event
  • Frosty toes winter swim in Okanagan Lake
  • Food trucks and a beverage garden
  • & MORE!

Throw on your warm gear and come out to join in on the weekend fun! 

Leading up to and during Frost Fest, from January 10-19, you can vote  in the Frost Fest Cocktail/Mocktail Competition, where local bars and restaurants are competing for best Frost Fest Cocktail/Mocktail! Sip on these frosty creations from The Hub on Martin, Kin & Folk, Sociale, The Barley Mill Brew Pub, Joos Box, and The Barking Parrot – then cast your vote for your favorite!
