Event Dates:
  • Sat March 23, 2024 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Save the date for Saturday, March 23rd as 24 venues at 21 locations will be taking part in the annual Ignite the Arts Art Walk. This event will help kick off Community Week for the Ignite the Arts Festival. With galleries and businesses from all over Penticton – there is something for everyone!

Whether you walk, ride, or drive, the Art Walk always has something new to experience. Each venue has unique offerings and activities from prize draws to artists on-site, exhibition openings, and more. Aurora Matheson Gallery is once again hosting Sculpture Day on Martin Street which will see sculptors working live all day in a variety of mediums in addition to the Family Sculpture Contest while Cannery Brewing will be hosting a ‘mini mural forgery event’ to coincide with the unveiling of their mini mural project. A full day of fun celebrating community, arts, and #LoveLocalPenticton

The art walk series is curated and managed by the Penticton Arts Council. This is the second year for the Ignite the Arts Art Walk after it replaced the prior Lake-to-Lake Art Walk in 2023. The Art Walk map is sponsored by the Penticton Art Gallery and the Penticton Arts Council and is in partnership with local galleries and businesses.
