Wake up with a coffee and a fresh baked pastry. Petrasek Bakery is a family owned and operated artisan European bakery where everything is traditionally handcrafted and made from scratch. 

Owners Jan and Sylvia Peteraskova are originally from Slovakia, and the couple have made their way around the world to end up here in Penticton! Their goal is to use local ingredients for their product to support the community.

Fun fact: They are located in an old art deco post office building.

Hoodoo Adventures is home to the South Okanagan’s only indoor climbing gym, so gear up for some bouldering fun.

Or perhaps you want to get out for some fun on the lake, they offer SUP, kayak and canoe rentals, as well as a wide variety of kayak tours. Whatever type of adventure you’re looking for, Hoodoo has it!

After an adventure with Hoodoo, stop into BRODO for lunch, featuring simply fresh food. Enjoy a soup flight, fresh salad, a “sammie” or a combination of all three or perhaps a flight of three soups.

Grab a healthy fresh juice straight from the cooler, and linger at BRODO’s communal table with friends over lunch. Their daily specials are made with the best, freshest local ingredients, and their regular menu changes with the seasons to reflect what’s fresh from the harvest. 

Fun fact: The name ‘brodo’ means broth in Italian saluting Chef Paul’s heritage as well as his passion for creating soups.

LocoLanding Adventure Park is the ultimate in family fun and entertainment! No matter how much time you want to spend here, there’s hours worth of fun.

Cool down with the water spraying bumper boats, and then dry off by hopping on the go-karts and racing around the track. Play a round of mini-golf, walk a tightrope high in the air with the high-level ropes course, soar up to 18 feet in the air on the monkey motion, or do some rock climbing on their 25 foot climbing wall.

Fun fact: LocoLanding started back in 2001 with an 18-hole mini-golf course and they added something new every year.

Enjoy a scenic stroll down the Okanagan Lake boardwalk, ending at the Hooded Merganser for dinner and a truly unique dining experience. Suspended over Okanagan Lake, every table offers a panoramic view of the lake and surrounding mountains. Serving South Okanagan contemporary cuisine inspired by fresh local ingredients from their very own Valley View Farm.

The Valley View Farm was originally just a grass field, however with passion and perseverance at play, the property has evolved into a fully functioning organic farm, with over an acre of produce available for distribution.

Inside the restaurant, the décor is luxurious, the atmosphere is casual and the menu diverse yet surprisingly reasonable.

Fun fact: The restaurant is named after the rare and reclusive North American duck that shares its name, and flew onto the restaurant patio during name selection.
