Kettle Valley Rail Trail to Little Tunnel (Naramata)

Easily accessible from downtown Penticton, the KVR trail works its way out of the city to the north through some residential neighbourhoods before opening up and following along the eastern ridge line of the Naramata Bench. From there you are surrounded by vineyards and orchards for the rest of the ride as you head towards the village of Naramata or the Little Tunnel lookout.

Kettle Valley Rail Trail to Okanagan Falls

Accessible from Wright’s Beach Camp on the Skaha Lake end of town, the KVR trail works its way out of the city to the south right alongside the shores of Skaha Lake down to Okanagan Falls at the other end. Bike your way down and enjoy beautiful scenery of Skaha Lake and reward yourself with some ice cream and wine once you get to Okanagan Falls.

Penticton Ale Trail

Penticton also has a dynamic beer scene with eight craft breweries. In fact, craft beer has become so popular here that Lonely Planet has named Penticton as Canada’s Craft Beer Capital! We have some of BC’s oldest and newest craft breweries here in Penticton. Most are within easy walking or biking distance of one another.

A Day at Skaha Lake Park

Located along the shores of Skaha Lake, Skaha Lake Park is the perfect area to spend an entire day with your friends and family. Stretching from The Peach all the way to the SS Sicamous, this section of beach is one of the most popular areas in Penticton for travellers and locals alike. Enjoy a beach day, any day of the week on Okanagan Lake.

Kettle Valley Rail Trail to Little Tunnel

The Kettle Valley Rail (KVR) Trail is one of the most iconic attractions in Penticton. Stretching 660 km from Hope, BC to Castlegar, BC the KVR is a decommissioned rail trail that has be converted into a recreational trail network that is also part of the Trans Canada Trail. The section of the trail between Penticton and Naramata is arguably the most developed of the entire KVR.
