Is the KVR Trail open?
According to the RDOS Information Release, as a precaution, the KVR Trail from Bathville Road in Summerland to Kettle Place in Faulder, is closed effective immediately. The KVR Trail between Little Tunnel and Chute Lake is also closed until further notice.

Where are the Emergency Social Services Reception Centres located?
An Emergency Social Services Reception Centre is open at Memorial Arena located at 399 Power Street in Penticton. Group lodging is open. The Reception Centre is open until 9:00 pm on Thursday, July 19 and open at 9:00 am on Friday, July 20.
All affected people within the Evacuation Order area have been asked to leave immediately and register at the Reception Centre. Approximately 200 people have registered with the Reception Centre. Evacuees electing not to utilize Emergency Social Services are still requested to register. Please call 250-328-8749 to advise support service personnel.
A Reception Centre in Summerland is open until 9:00 pm on Thursday, July 19 and open from 8:00 am to noon. The Reception Centre is located at the Summerland Arena Complex & Curling Club (8820 Jubilee Road East).
A Reception Centre in West Kelowna is open and will assist evacuees from other areas including the RDOS. The Reception Centre is located at the Lake View Heights Baptist Church, 2630 Alhambra Drive, West Kelowna.
