Picnic-ton Pop-Ups

This year’s Picnic-ton will feature pop-up events on city streets, creating temporary outdoor spaces for residents to gather, eat outdoors and enjoy some free entertainment. Residents and visitors are encouraged to order a takeout meal or purchase food at the Penticton Farmers’ Market and head down to Pop-up Picnic-ton.

  • Eat outdoors at picnic tables set up on the street (roads will be temporarily closed to create a safe space)
  • Listen to live music / performances
  • Play some yard games
  • Chalk art for kids
  • Selfie frame contest and giveaways
  • Enjoy the ‘street park’ atmosphere
  • Move 97.1 will be broadcasting live on-site at the June 18 event

Walk over to the event after visiting the Penticton Farmers’ Market! Both Pop-up Picnic-ton events are within a short walking distance from the market, held on the following dates:

  • Saturday, June 4, 12-4 p.m.: Winnipeg St. at Estabrook Ave. (outside Neighbourhood Brewing, Wayne & Freda, and Bad Tattoo Brewing)
  • Saturday, June 18, 12-4 p.m.: 500-block of Main Street
