Join us at Apex Mountain Resort on March 5th & 6th, 2022 to experience a wide range of activities during our First Edition of the Hoodoo Ski Tour and Snowshoe Clinics, as part of the Okanagan Ski Touring and Snowshoe Festival.

Avalanche awareness clinics, beginner initiation tours, intermediate beacon search and tour, snowshoe tours and our incredible tour under the stars with dinner and wine at the famous Gunbarrel Saloon. Whether you are a beginner, enthusiast or professional, the festival will have something for you. Bring your skis, split board snowshoes or all three and join in on the fun!!

March 5th:

  • 9am: Skimountaineering race (4h)
  • 10am: Avalanche safety awareness clinic (2h)
  • 2pm: Ski touring/Split boarding initiation for beginner (2h)
  • 4:45pm, 5:15pm: Ski tour under the stars & dinner at the Gunbarrel (2h+dinner)
  • 5:30pm: Snowshoe tour under the stars & dinner at the Gunbarrel (1,5h + dinner)

March 6th:

  • 9am: Ski tour and beacon search Intermediate (4h)
  • 10am: Avalanche safety awareness clinic (2h)
  • 11am: Snowshoe guided tour (2h)
  • 2pm: Ski touring/Split boarding initiation for beginner (2h)
