Join artist Molly Gray in this step-by-step workshop to learn the basic principles of linocut printmaking. Each participant will go home with a small, hand-carved and printed edition of prints, their carved lino matrix (stamp), and a new skill they can continue to pursue on their own.

*Due to block-printing using sharp tools, this workshop will be available for 15+ only or under close parental supervision. All participants will be required to sign a waiver releasing Molly Gray and Langley Arts Council of any responsibility for injury that may occur during the workshop.

Artist Bio

Molly Gray is a multidisciplinary artist based in Langley, B.C. She specializes in printmaking, painting, illustration, and metal sculpture. Driven by a love of hands-on creation, Molly approaches each piece with childlike wonder, a philosophy she carries over to her teaching and art facilitation style. Her work often depicts Northwest Coast landscapes, local flora and fauna, spanning styles from fluid impressionism to illustrative realism
