Noren curtains and Portals are a symbol of welcome, simultaneously separating and connecting two spaces. In her first solo exhibition, Maureen Fugeta bridges cultures through textiles inspired by the vibrant colours of the Okanagan, created from organic cotton and natural dyes using traditional Japanese Shibori techniques.
