Beginner Encaustic Art at Penticton Arts Council

On Saturday, June 18th from 1:00PM-4:00PM, you can learn how to make encaustic paintings using beeswax!

Hosted in the PDCAC Community Room at the Leir House Cultural Centre (220 Manor Park Avenue) join Janvier Kreut for a Encaustic Iron Beginner Workshop.

In this introductory workshop, students will learn to paint with the encaustic iron using plain and pigmented medium made with beeswax. Paintings will be embellished with oil sticks, pan pastels, inks and many other materials.
