5 weeks of classes

Ages 8 – 12
2 hours per class | 3:30 pm – 5:30 pm | Thursdays

Class Dates: April 21st, April 28th, May 5th, May 12th, May 19th | 2022

Limit of 5 students per session. Each student will have their own pottery wheel for the duration of the class.

Includes all supplies.

All registered students must have a registration package on file prior to the start of class. This package must be completed by a parent/guardian. You will be emailed this package upon completion of payment for class.
Students who complete this class will have the opportunity to join our After School Clay Club starting in September, 2022.

Students will learn the basics of wheel throwing. How to prepare their clay, centre their clay on the wheel and how to create basic shapes like cylinders, bowls and mugs. They will also learn how to trim and decorate their pieces using a variety of techniques including sgraffito, underglazing, resist techniques & carving. They can throw as many pieces as their clay allows!
