"1000 Flights Out" Presented by the Nightingale Project

Stand with Ukraine in the Okanagan Valley at “1000 Flights Out” – a celebration of Ukrainian culture featuring performances by Calgary’s Tryzub Ukrainian Dancers and merited artist of Ukraine Ihor Bohdan. Brought to you by the South Okanagan Nightingale Project – a volunteer organization fomed for the purposes of assisting Ukrainian families displaced by war. All event proceeds will go to support families from Ukraine living in the South Okanagan.

Tryzub Ukrainian Dance Society

The Tryzub Dance Society is one of the largest in Southern Alberta with over 150 Students and Semi-Professional dancers from ages 4 to Adult. The concert features the acclaimed Tryzub Ukrainian Junior Dance troupe from Calgary, and Ihor Bohdan, a charismatic and passionate Ukrainian contemporary singer. Through dance and music, we will salute the spirit of Ukraine and her people in their struggle for freedom. The Canadian Ambassador to the United Nations will also be lending his support via a recorded message.

Ukraine Nightingale Project
Ukraine Nightingale Project is an organization, formed in the South Okanagan, for the purpose of bringing Ukrainian families that have been displaced by the war, to our South Okanagan communities where we will provide them with the necessary support to start a new life in Canada.
