Welcome to River Stone Estate Winery
River Stone is a small, family owned and operated winery in the South Okanagan. Located on a small knoll in the middle of the valley, just south of the well-recognized McIntyre Bluff, a 30 minute drive from Penticton, and just north of the town of Oliver, BC, Canada’s Wine Capital.
River Stone is surrounded by our hand-tended vineyard. When we moved to the Okanagan Valley we chose this site for its superb grape-growing qualities and planted the vineyard with a Bordeaux style blend in mind, which we have called Corner Stone.
As our winery name, River Stone, and vineyard name, River Rock Vineyards suggest, our wines come from the deep rock and gravel soils laid down following the last glacial recession. We grow five red Bordeaux varietals: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot, as well as several white varietals: Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer.
Long sunlit summer days followed by fall`s warm days and cool nights have consistently produced premium quality fruit.

Open Thursday to Monday from 11am to 5pm from March 29th to April 29th.
Starting April 30th, we’ll be open 7 days a week from 11am to 5pm.
We welcome walk-ins, but we recommend making a reservation in advance.

Taste the Terroir Experience
Join us for an introductory experience, tasting 4 of our wines in our wine shop or tasting garden overlooking the vineyard.
Our experienced and knowledgeable wine ambassadors will guide you through our big, bold reds, crisp rosés, and aromatic whites while sharing a little bit about the River Stone story. Please allow for 15 – 30 minutes.

Garden View Seated Tasting
Sit back and relax as our knowledgeable wine ambassadors guide you through a selection of 5 wines from our portfolio. Our seated wine tastings are located in prime position to experience the views across our vineyard in the heart of our beautiful tasting garden. Learn the River Stone story, about our wines, wine making, and viticulture. Charcuterie is available for purchase ($25 each) to enjoy after your tasting. Please allow for 45 – 60 minutes.

Vineyard Tour & Tasting
Join us on a guided, private vineyard tour with one of our experienced wine ambassadors through our River Rock Vineyard. Enjoy a selection of specially curated wines in an engraved River Stone keepsake wine glass as you leisurely wander through the vines and learn viticultural and winemaking practices here.
The tour takes approximately 60-75 minutes. Please wear walking shoes and dress for the weather.
