Four Shadows is a family owned and operated vineyard and winery. Their vineyard and tasting room are located at the south end of the Naramata Bench.
With a history of farming, Wilbert and Joka Borren purchased the 17 acre vineyard property in 2011. Involving their four sons (the Four Shadows) in reviving this neglected property, they started with growing grapes for other wineries for the first 7 years. In 2017 part of the harvest was used to make their first vintage of Pinot Noir and Merlot, followed by Riesling, Chardonnay and Rosé in 2018. The estate vineyard and its terroir continues to prove itself with award winning wines.
The doors of their newly renovated tasting room opened in the spring of 2019, where the Borrens and their staff have taken pride in welcoming guests for a relaxed, personable tasting ever since.
