Water and Water Conservation in the Okanagan

Join environmental scientist, Denise Nielsen, and xeriscaping experts Eva Durance and Paula Rodriguez de la Vega for a talk and Q&A about climate change, water conservation, and xeriscaping in the Okanagan!

We have very little water in the Okanagan and as climate changes we will have even less but demand will increase. This presentation will review climate effect on water in the Okanagan and opportunities for residential water conservation. It will explore xeriscaping as a way to reduce outdoor water use and will end with a Q&A session on xeriscaping.
