The Challenge Penticton race will feature 4 events:
- Standard – Swim 1.5km, Bike 45km, Run 10.5km: A brand new race distance announced for Challenge Penticton 2017! Race on the same course as the Half and take this opportunity to experience a shorter version of this beautiful course.
- Challenge Half – Swim 1.9km, Bike 90km, Run 21km: This years race will take place on much of the 2017 Long Distance Worlds Course, giving athletes an unparalleled opportunity to train on a course used in a World Championships 6 weeks later.
- Team Half – Swim 1.9km, Bike 90km, Run 21km: Grab some friends, colleagues or family members and join forces to make Challenge Penticton a day to remember. Relay Team athletes race the same Half Distance Course as the solo athletes.
- Aquabike – Swim 1.9km, Bike 90km: Utilizing the same great course as the Challenge Half Distance, the Aquabike athletes enjoy a swim in Okanagan Lake followed by a ride through wine country. No run section for Aquabike athletes.
