Spring into Watercolours with Nel Witteman

Local artist and gallery owner Nel Witteman will share her wealth of knowledge, creativity and skills, along with her gift of awakening the creative spirit in her students. She will begin the workshop by demonstrating some of her artwork. She will provide tips and techniques in developing watercolour skills, and share her perspective on how mistakes can enhance paintings and how artists can turn them into happy accidents.
About the Instructor
Nel Witteman was born and raised in the Netherlands and immigrated to the Okanagan Valley with her husband and two daughters in 1978 and Kaleden, British Columbia became her new home.
Nel has a subtle watercolour style and paints the exquisite landscapes of the beautiful Okanagan valley as well as the Southern Gulf Islands. She has had more than forty years experience as a watercolour painter and has given lessons and offered encouragement to many local new artists.
