Ride Don’t Hide - Fundraising Bike Ride
Ride Don’t Hide is a fundraising bike ride that brings mental health out into the open.
Join us for the eighth annual Ride Don’t Hide on June 23, 2019, in Penticton at KVR Middle School.
Ride Don’t Hide is the largest mental health bike ride in Canada with almost 10,000 riders and hundreds more family members, friends and volunteers across Canada taking part, raising more than $2 million each year for the Canadian Mental Health Association.
Get on your bike and join the movement. Ride. Don’t hide.
This community event accommodates riders of all ages and abilities with 4 different rides to choose from:
1. 5 KM Stride (walk)- This route is intended for people without bicycles and/or for families with small children. It is also perfect for family members of someone participating in one of the other routes.
2. 12 KM Ride- event is great for families and individuals
3. 24 KM Ride – is for more experienced riders and involves steeper hills.
4. 36 KM Ride – is great for more experienced riders, and goes to the Little Tunnel and back.
Recovering from mental illness and battling stigma are both easier when we have our friends, family and colleagues supporting us. So, although you can register as an individual, we encourage participants to register as families or teams to ensure that those who support us in our daily lives are with us as we ride or stride to support mental health and reduce stigma.
Riders can register as individuals, families or teams.
