Women in Art Lecture Series
We are excited to offer a new lecture series given by Chelsea Baumgartner, a fourth-year doctoral student at UBC Okanagan. This series will focus on the long and important history that women have had in art history throughout the world. Discussions will address the role of women as both artists and patrons and the ways that involvement in the arts have allowed women the chance to exercise personal and political power.
