Andrew Walker, Wildlife Biologist with the BC Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations will be speaking about the Bighorn Sheep population in the South Okanagan, the history of health problems in the region, and how to manage domestic sheep and goats so that disease transfer issues between domestic and wild sheep does not happen.

Okanagan landowners, as well as others who utilize California bighorn habitat, play a vital role in ensuring this species remain a majestic, visible icon in the Province. This presentation highlights some of the challenges that bighorn face and ways people can successfully live alongside them.
